On September 30th, which was my birthday;had the honor of attending the book festival in the Mount Vernon area. I interacted with all people in all walks of life and had a great time mingling with the children and taking pictures with them in my crown and sash. On child gave me a pinwheel for my birthday and made me feel really good. I know some people would not have done an appearance on their birthday, but I felt that sometimes we need to sacrifice to show true character. In all I had a great time and like being apart of the the organization Baltimore Reads. Every time they have an event, I like being their to support. Our next event is on December 8th, which is the Baltimore Holiday Book Fair. so if your schedule permits come out and bring the kids to have some holiday fun.

It was an honor and a privilege to have been
apart of this wonderful event. I volunteered most of the morning
giving out Tee shirts to the walkers. It was a great experience, and got
a lot of compliments on my sash and my title. The photo
It was a grand privilege and an honor to have attended this great event. I had an awesome time volunteering and making an appearance for Mr. Andretti's wonderful race. I made a lot of wonderful friends and passed out a great amount of my pageant information to the guests and V.I.P. that entered the building that I was working. It was great to have people of grand stature recognize me as the beauty queen that I am. One of them gave me nice compliments on my duties as a National titleholder and a volunteer for the race. This in turn made me feel like my work was not in vein. In my opinion, this years race was very well organized and I had an awesome time meeting the drivers and just being in the mist of making history in my home town. Even though I could not wear my crown and sash, I was still recognized for my stature of Being Ms. United States All World Beauties 2012. Mr. Andretti can be assured that I will be attending his race again next year.
